Today, NCDIA is expertly positioned to serve as an educational authority for natural color diamonds and to help expand the market for the broad spectrum of natural color diamonds available.
The Fancy Color Research Foundation (FCRF)
The Fancy Color Research Foundation (FCRF) aims to empower fancy color diamond sellers by improving consumer experience through a new information channel and to provide fact-based support for fancy color diamonds as an asset class. The FCRF is a non-profit and self-funded organization. Any profits generated by the FCRF from sales of analytic products is either reinvested in research or donated to charity.
Responsible Jewellery Council
The Responsible Jewellery Council is a non-profit, standards setting and certification organisation. It has more than 1000 member companies that span the jewellery supply chain from mine to retail. The RJC members commit and are independently audited against the RJC Code of Practices - an international standard on responsible business practices for diamonds, gold and platinum group metals. The Code of Practices addresses human rights, labour rights, environmental impact, product disclosure and many more important topics in the jewellery supply chain.

Kunming Trading Company is one of the 35 Founding Members of the HKIDA. The Hong Kong Indian Diamond Association (HKIDA) aims at safeguarding the natural diamond trade and serving the Indian diamond community in Hong Kong.
Diamond Federation of Hong Kong
The Diamond Federation of Hong Kong, China (DFHK) is a non-profit organization aiming to protect the integrity of diamonds and the interests of consumers by standardizing business practices. It joins forces with two long-established associations in Hong Kong, namely the Diamond Importers Association (1959) and the Hong Kong Diamond Bourse (1985).

The Gemological Institute of America or GIA, is a nonprofit institute dedicated to research and education in the field of gemology and the jewelry arts. GIA created global standards to accurately determine the quality of diamonds (4Cs – Colour, Clarity, Cut and Carat Weight), coloured stones and pearls. GIA’s groundbreaking research and unbiased grading and analysis set the global standards that protect the gem-buying public. With campuses, research centers and laboratory facilities around the world, GIA is the world’s foremost authority in gemology.
